Ancient trees reached up with their twisted branches. A full moon bathed the island in a blue-green light.Every now and then the moonlight dimmed as clouds of ash billowed from the volcano. My friends and I aren't supposed to be here, really. We were going on a trip (doesn't matter where) when we got caught in a storm. There were five of us. Blake had said he was a good sailor. Ron had said he was good at cleaning. A bit too good. Any who, Blake was doing his job when there was a terrifying storm. There was rain, thunder and worst of all, lightening. Clarissa got scared and started crying. She ran below the deck where we stored the food. Sapphire climbed down to calm Clarissa down. When the worst of the storm was over, Blake spotted an island not far from where we were. He steered the boat into the docks and we hopped off. We looked around for anyone who could help us, but sadly, no luck. We walked along the path when we heard a glass shattering scream. We turned around to face Clarissa but she was gone. We searched the area Clarissa was standing but the only thing we found was a huge footprint embedded in the ground. We decided to either follow the footprint or go back to the boat to see if Clarissa had run back and slipped.
